NADMEX 2026 to bring the global disaster management ecosystem to Istanbul

Events • 13.03.2026

NADMEX, Türkiye’s first and only exhibition and summit dedicated entirely to disaster management, will take place December 2 – 4, 2026 at Istanbul Expo Center, Hall 9 – 10. Organized by Sektörel Fuarcilik, the event will bring together the full spectrum of stakeholders involved in disaster preparedness, response, and recovery.

After welcoming more than 12 000 visitors in its previous edition, NADMEX has established itself as one of the world’s most comprehensive gatherings dedicated to disaster management. The upcoming edition aims to further strengthen collaboration across the sector and expand the capacity for disaster preparedness and response through dialogue, innovation, and strategic partnerships.

Held under the slogan "Life Counts", NADMEX promotes a holistic perspective on disaster management that extends beyond response operations. The event emphasizes the importance of preparedness and mitigation before disasters occur, encouraging a risk management approach that integrates technology, investment, financing, and the development of resilient and sustainable cities. In doing so, NADMEX underscores that disaster preparedness is not solely the responsibility of institutions but also a shared social responsibility and civic duty.

Showcasing innovation across the disaster management sector

The exhibition will serve as a dynamic trade and knowledge-sharing platform where industry leaders present the latest innovations and technologies in disaster management. Across eight main product categories, the event will showcase a broad range of solutions, from search and rescue equipment and emergency medical technologies to firefighting vehicles, fire protection systems, energy storage technologies, and advanced communication and software solutions.

Visitors will also encounter next-generation innovations including temporary shelter systems, protective clothing, mobile living units, and training and awareness technologies. These developments highlight that modern disaster management extends far beyond crisis response and includes prevention, preparedness, and long-term recovery.

Disaster management summit to address global challenges

Running alongside the exhibition, the Disaster Management Summit will bring together internationally recognized experts to address some of the most pressing challenges facing the sector. Discussions will focus on topics such as disaster economics, risk financing, insurance models, climate change, artificial AI-supported response systems, urban transformation, and the resilience of critical infrastructure.

Speakers will emphasize that disaster management is not only a humanitarian necessity but also a strategic investment that supports economic sustainability and the long-term resilience of cities. As the global economic costs of disasters continue to rise, experts are expected to highlight the growing importance of risk reduction investments as a central element of national development strategies.

Hands-on learning and expert insights

Beyond the exhibition floor and conference sessions, NADMEX 2026 will feature an experience-oriented program designed to deliver practical knowledge and real-world insights.

The Training Area, organized under the motto "Learn. Execute. Save.", will host hands-on exercises led by firefighting teams, search and rescue specialists, and emergency response professionals. Visitors will have the opportunity to observe live drills and scenario-based demonstrations, gaining valuable insights into modern disaster response techniques.

At the same time, the Expert Talks Stage will serve as a key knowledge platform where industry leaders present new technologies, digital solutions, and innovative disaster management projects. Representatives from the private sector, academia, and civil society will also share field experiences and discuss next-generation approaches to building safer and more resilient communities.
