Yildirim Energy unveils major solar project in Kosovo

Yildirim Energy announced its entry into the Kosovo market with a focus on renewable energy production, particularly in the solar energy sector. The project was presented at an opening ceremony, attended by ministers, government officials, ambassadors, representatives of local and international organizations, as well as Robert Yuksel Yildirim, President & CEO of Yildirim Group, along with many other officials and representatives of the Group.

At the ceremony, Yildirim Energy unveiled ambitious plans for Kosovo with the presentation of its new investment project for solar energy. The project includes the installation of solar panels in the municipality of Drenas, with a high capacity of 109 MW. This project marks a significant moment for Kosovo, as it contributes to the production of decarbonized energy and improves the overall energy infrastructure and economy of the country.
