What were the hottest trends at this special autumn edition of the world´s leading lighting and building technology trade show Light + Building, which took place from 2 to 6 October?
The Light + Building exhibition has always been the most important European forum in the field of lighting. This also applies to the edition of the fair, which took place at the beginning of October this year. Interest was also enhanced by the fact that the Light + Building exhibition had been postponed twice in the last two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Exhibitors and visitors were both looking forward to seeing the latest innovations and trends in lighting.
Outdoor lighting is already developing with full force in the direction of solar lighting. The trends are obvious and will continue going forward. They are also reinforced by the constant increase in electricity prices. In this sense, solar solutions are an extremely useful alternative.
The trend towards increasing the efficiency of available lighting fixtures in technical and industrial lighting is also more and more clearly expressed, i.e. lower power and electricity consumption for more light output.
What were the highlights in Vivalux’s presentation?
The main objective of our participation in Light + Building is, of course, to expand Vivalux’s presence of in foreign markets. Our product range has undergone strong development over the past few years. It was expanded into the decorative and outdoor lighting product groups – highly efficient, of sustainable quality, with appearance according to the latest trends in Europe.
Portfolio expansion with interesting products makes us an increasingly relevant and preferred supplier for more and more customers. It was important for us to present the novelties, as well as to feel the visitors’s disposition to our stand.
Are you satisfied with your participation? Did you achieve the goals you set for yourself and what were they?
We are extremely pleased with the interest of visitors towards our stand. We had many visits from different countries, with clear interest in Vivalux brand products. After the exhibition concluded, we are already communicating with companies that visited us there. That´s great.
Our experience of participating in exhibitions shows that the real results become clear long after the forum is over. Participation in exhibitions like Light + Building is an expensive investment in the future of any company. Results don´t come quickly. We met with almost all of our international partners. It is very nice that many companies from Bulgaria also visited us. Bulgarian companies have always been very active in looking for novelties in the field of lighting.
Are you planning to take part in the next edition of the event?
The next edition of Light + Building will take place in two years. We will analyze the real results of the contacts created after this year’s edition and then we will consider our next steps.
