Turkey invests in Macedonian Industrial zone Ilinden

A Тurkish company invested in the Macedonian Industrial zone Ilinden by purchasing land for a distribution center for agricultural products, the Agency for Foreign Investments and Export Promotion of Macedonia reported. The land will be used for the construction of a distribution and logistics center.

The company has bought 87 000 square meters in the Industrial zone of Ilinden. During the first phase of the project around EUR 5 million will be invested, and with the building of the logistics and distribution center up to 100 people will be employed eventually, commented Visar Fida, the CEO of the Agency for Foreign Investments and Export Promotion of Macedonia.

The capacity of the new distribution and logistics center will reach 7000 tones. The purchase is a result of two-year long negotiations between the Agency for Foreign Investments and Export Promotion of Macedonia and the new foreign investor.

Vicar Fida added also that the agency is working on a lot new projects, which will boost the economy of both the region of Ilinden and Macedonia as a whole.
