Türkiye`s Sahterm starts building new manufacturing facility in North Macedonia

Turkish manufacturer Sahterm Elektrikli, known for producing heating elements for household appliances, has begun construction on a new factory in North Macedonia. According to Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski, the project`s initial phase is worth EUR 25 million and is expected to create 200 jobs.

The total investment will eventually reach EUR 50 million, with plans to employ over 500 people. Mickoski, speaking at a press conference streamed on the government`s YouTube channel, highlighted the project as a driver of economic growth and a sign of the country`s industrial and export potential. The first two phases will see the construction of a facility spanning more than 13 000 square meters, as confirmed by North Macedonia`s Directorate for Technological Industrial Development Zones (TIDZ). Currently, more than half of Sahterm`s annual output is exported.
