Ljevaonica Bjelovar

The foundry was founded in the beginning of the 20th century. It started production of casting in gray (SL) and ductile (NL) cast as well as iron alloys with maximal annual capacity of 10 000 tons of casted products which made the foundry one of the bigger manufacturers in the country.

Ljevaonica, as it is today (founded in 1991.), is implementing new productional technologies, modernizing equipment and production lines, changing the production programmes and improving the product quality.

The company has introduced the quality system certificate ISO 9001:2000. It is active in the production of gray and ductile cast and casting alloys. The melt plant produces liquid metal on medium frequency electro-furnace. The finishing processes include annulating - stabilizing and recrystallizating heating process (500°C-1200°C) in annealing furnace 2 m3.
