Sezana-based adhesives producer Mitol has been acquired by Belgium’s Soudal Holding. The Slovenian company expects to benefit from synergies while keeping all its business segments and trademarks. “With the arrival of a strategic owner with a clear vision, Mitol will further strengthen its development, sales and long-term stability,” said director Marjan Mateta, who will remain at the helm of Mitol.

The new owner is an international group manufacturing sealants, adhesives, and polyurethane foams for professional and private users. During 2013 it also acquired TKK, a Srpenica-based company producing additives for concrete.
