Sisecam expands coated glass capacity in Bulgaria

Sisecam has completed a EUR 20 million investment in a second coated glass line at its flat glass facility in Bulgaria, boosting its footprint in the European architectural glass market.

The new line will produce temperable, high-performance and energy-efficient glass, increasing product diversity and R&D flexibility. With the added capacity, the company aims to deliver more high-tech coated glass with strong light transmission and insulation, alongside bird-friendly and automotive heatable athermic glass, meeting rising demand for sustainable solutions.

The expansion is also expected to strengthen the company’s competitive position and support further growth in international sales.
