Mobile machine-to-machine communication specialist Telit Communications has linked a European distribution deal with Rutronik that will see the company handle Telit’s GSM/GPRS and CDMA-modules. “We are looking forward to supporting Telit’s sales activities in Europe and playing a key role in driving the company to the top of the global m2m market,” said Markus Krieg, Rutronik Marketing Director of Semiconductors.
Rutronik has switched to Telit (Italy) from other suppliers, including the range of M2M modules made by Sony Ericsson, whose wireless M2M activities were recently acquired by French company Wavecom SA. Along with wireless GSM/GPRS modules, Rutronik offers a wide variety of complementary technologies, including RFID, ISM, Bluetooth, WLAN, ZigBee, and GPS.
