A Bulgarian company will invest in a production plant for wood chip pellets, used for heating, said the Mayor of Sredets Municipality Ivan Jabov for Burgas reporter. The amount of the investment is expected to be between BGN 1,5 and 2 mln.

The new workplaces created in the plant initially are expected to be 30, further in the second stage of the project they are expected to reach 50 new employees, involved in the production of timber.

The investors who are born in the town of Sredets have chosen it as a location for their investment because of its proximity to Burgas. The Mayor Ivan Jabov explains the other advantages of Sredets are the short distance to Port Burgas, first class road Sredets-Burgas, the nearby railroad and Trakia highway.
