Minth plans EUR 950 million expansion with two new plants in Serbia

Chinese auto parts manufacturer Minth Holdings Limited will invest EUR 950 million over the next five years to build two new factories in Serbia, according to the Serbian economy ministry. The facilities will be located in Leskovac and Cuprija and are expected to generate 2800 new jobs. The announcement follows the signing of memorandums of understanding between Minth and Serbian authorities.

Minth has operated in Serbia since 2018, with existing plants in Loznica and Sabac employing 3500 people. Additionally, in 2023, the Serbian government confirmed Minth’s EUR 870 million, 10-year plan for a major facility in Indija, projected to create 2200 jobs. Mayor Marko Gasic recently stated the plant should open within the next few years.
