HOW - Hub of Warehouse: a strategic platform for the future of intralogistics

Positioned as more than just a conventional trade fair, HOW – Hub of Warehouse is set to become a key meeting point dedicated to shaping the future of the intralogistics industry. Marking a first in its category, the event will be held from September 18 – 20, 2025, at the Istanbul Expo Center. Attendees will experience the latest advancements in next-generation warehouse and intralogistics systems – from material handling equipment and automation technologies to racking systems and robotics.

With a clear focus on sustainability and digital transformation, HOW – Hub of Warehouse aims to support the evolution of Türkiye’s intralogistics sector. In 2024, the Turkish logistics market reached a size of USD 150 billion and is projected to grow by 3 – 4% in 2025. The event is expected to play a pivotal role in driving this growth.

Organized by Hannover Fairs Turkey Fuarcilik – the Turkish branch of Deutsche Messe – the fair is being held in cooperation with ISDER and with support from AKDER, DEPODER, ENOSAD, LODER, TEDAR, CILT Türkiye, UTIKAD, and WiLAT, alongside Stokport as a solution partner.

The exhibition will bring together industry leaders with the most advanced technologies across a wide range of fields: material handling, storage and racking systems, packaging, software and automation, warehouse solutions, robotic technologies, and AGV & AMR systems. With Türkiye’s logistics sector emphasizing digital and sustainable practices, these themes will be central to the event’s agenda. Under the guidance of the Logistics Association (LODER), exhibitors will have the chance to explore cutting-edge innovations in storage and intralogistics.

More than an industry showcase, HOW – Hub of Warehouse will serve as a dynamic hub for dialogue and strategic planning, focused on the future of logistics.

Prof. Dr. Mehmet Tanyas, Chairman of LODER, commented on the current state of the logistics industry: “In 2024, stagnation across industrial and commercial sectors had a direct impact on logistics. Rising uncertainties, ongoing crises, and reduced purchasing power forced companies to operate with tight profit margins and conservative investment strategies. Now, the focus is shifting toward cost-efficiency. Nevertheless, the growth of e-commerce and export activity could support a 3 – 4% increase in the sector. Tukiye’s strategic geographical position offers significant potential – but realizing this advantage depends on delivering high-quality logistics services and sustainable practices”.

Emphasizing the role of HOW – Hub of Warehouse in advancing Türkiye’s intralogistics and warehousing capabilities, Tanyas added: “Storage is a core component of logistics operations and is as strategically important as transport. Boosting warehouse efficiency, enhancing safety, and embedding sustainability are increasingly essential. The HOW – Hub of Warehouse will be a valuable platform for experiencing the latest technological developments and engaging with quality service providers. As LODER, we plan to support this event through seminars, panel discussions, and competitions”.
