Great success for the conference "SOFIA, BALKANS"

At 5th June 2009 conference "Sofia, Balkans" was held in Sofia, organized by CCIIB (Consultative Committee of Italian Entrepreneurs in Bulgaria), focusing on the possibilities of development of the Italian business in the Balkans.
Present at the event, which was opened with a short speech from the Ambassador of Italy in Sofia H.E. Stefano Benazzo, were the representatives from the fabric industries of the main countries of the Balkans.
Following a summary by the Director of CCIIB Federico Cassi, which served to draw a picture of the essential data and comparisons of the countries from the area, the conference has continued with a series of interviews, moderated by the President of CCIIB Massimo Bartocci and the Director of ICE Sofia Fabrizio Camastra, the entrepreneurs Franco Delneri, Nagib Fejzi and Giovanni Degennaro. Delneri Franco, the Executive Director of SYSTEMA (Forum for Economic and Social Italian-Serbian Development), spoke about the possibilities that Serbia offers; his speech was followed by Nagib Fejzi, Director of the Committee of Italian-Macedonian entrepreneurs who spoke about Macedonia. In the end, a focus on Albania, which economic situation was synthesized by Giovanni Degennaro, President of AIIOA (Association of Italian Entrepreneurs Operating in Albania). The debate continued with the intervention of two guests, who presented some companies of their respective sectors from the Balkan countries: Luisa Coloni (Assicurazioni Generali - Chairman of the Supervisory Board For General Insurance Life and General Insurance Ad) and Francesco Giacomin (Member of the Board of Directors Unicredit Group). The guests and the speakers cited discussed the perspectives offered by the area at global level, as well as which are the areas and sectors that offer interesting business development. For the organization of the conference, which met a great success, CCIIB thanks Generali Bulgaria Holding Ead and Unicredit Group.
