Glasstech gathers world leading companies in the glass industry

The international trade fair for glass production, processing and trading Glasstech 2016 gathers world leading companies in the glass industry to enhance business relations and show technological innovations, the event sponsors have announced. The trade show’s dates are 20-23 September.

Glasstech is an industrial event which has been taking place in Germany for more than 40 years. Now it’s being performed under the motto "Future - Glass - Performance" and is aiming at revealing the high technologies of glass production and processing. Glasstech 2016 shows the newest applications for glass production as well as underscoring the new ultra thin, solid and free-form glass that is expected to be the highlight of the event, showing architectures and planners new and exciting perspectives.

The trade fair is also holding a special symposium that tackles different pressing issues in the glass industry. There are several main themes for each day of the event that the symposium focus on - melting and forming, glass processing, finishing using new technologies & Industry 4.0, architecture & digital planning processes, and window & facade.
