Fischer Elektronik, manufacturer of heatsinks, connectors and 19" extension systems, have extended their large range of cases by a multi-purpose aluminium case with guide slots spaced at 5.08 mm for 100 mm Eurocards. The tough plastic frame allows firm and easy connection of Eurotainer design cases in both the horizontal and vertical directions. Feet of various sizes are available which allow the case to be applied either as a table or a desk console. An EMC-shielded design, achieved by the use of electrical conductive surfaces and additional conductive seals, is also available. Furthermore, front plastic foils and membrane keyboards may be fitted. The seals applied provide protection class IP 54. The case and the cover plates may be mechanically machined, provided with surface finish or printed to meet customers’ requirements.
