Mutual acceptance of the testing certificates and reports has been established by Bulgarian and Romanian testing laboratories
Being deeply involved in the processes of establishment and stabilization of a conformity assessment system in the field of the New Approach Directives of EU in the Balkan Region, on 22.03.2005 an agreement concerning the mutual acceptance of the testing certificates and reports between:
“Testing of electrical products” JSC (TEP JSC - www.iep-bg.com) and The research and design Institute for Electrical Engineering – Department of electrical products testing and certification (ICPE-DICPE - www.icpe.ro) was signed.
Taking into account the both partners act according to EN ISO/IEC 17025:2001 as a testing laboratory and to EN 45011:1998, as a certification body, the parties agreed to recognize and accept testing certificates and reports issued by each of the parties under the following conditions:
- testing is performed according to the EN/IEC standards
- the test results are fully presented
- the testing reports are issued in English language.
The Laboratories agreed also to carry out joint testing in order to build mutual confidence.
TEP JSC is an independent private company, successor and inheritor of the traditions of the former Laboratorial complex “ELPROM - IEP” Ltd., the Testing laboratories at IEP “Nikola Belopitov” and NIPKIEP-Sofia. The company has over 40 years of experience and practice in the field of testing of electrical products and of conformity assessment and certification of products - CB procedure (in the part CB Test Report). IEP JSC collaborates with and under the supervision of VDE, TUV Rheinland, SGS, Lloyd’s Register, GOSSTANDARD and other similar organizations and institutes.
ICPE-DICPE has both the Certification body and the Testing laboratory designated by the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of Romania (MEC), for LVD and EMC. ICPE-DICPE has accredited by RENAR - unique administrator of the accreditation national mark.
The fields of competence of both laboratories are:
- Certification of electric and electronic products
- testing in accordance with Low voltage directive
- testing in accordance with Machine Directive
- testing in accordance with Electromagnetic compatibility Directive
