elektrotechnik registers high level of bookings for 2025

In 2025, elektrotechnik will once again attract decision-makers from the electrical industry to Dortmund in western Germany. The trade fair, scheduled for 12 to 14 February next year, is the ideal platform for the electrical trade and industry, giving architects, planners, energy consultants and energy suppliers a perfect platform for discovering more about cutting-edge technologies.

The spotlight will be firmly on key topics of future importance: building technology, energy technology and industrial technology. Because smart living, energy efficiency and process automation are becoming ever-more important. This is borne out by the figures, with around 400 exhibitors from 12 countries and 18 700 international trade visitors travelling to Dortmund last time around.

Messe Dortmund and the North Rhine Westphalia Electrical & Information Technology Trade Association (FEH NRW), elektrotechnik’s technical and conceptual sponsor, are looking forward to the next show. After nearly 90% of exhibitors had already spoken out in favour of participating again in 2025 following the 2023 show, the bookings to date show clearly that 2025 is not just going to be a reunion, it’s also going to bring encounters with a lot of new faces.

Visitor satisfaction was already high at the last show, with 94% satisfied or very satisfied with their participation, and with nearly 89% planning to return in 2025. Sabine Loos, Managing Director of Westfalenhallen Unternehmensgruppe which owns and operates the Messe Dortmund venue, explains what these figures mean for the organisers: “Especially with a show that’s become as established as elektrotechnik over the years, we feel a great incentive to inspire exhibitors and visitors anew every time. New concepts, new big-name exhibitors, high-quality content and concentrated expertise are what visitors and exhibitors expect us to deliver, and we want to meet these expectations to the full again – or even exceed them – in 2025!”
