Electrostart

Electrostart manufactures ballasts for fluorescent, sodium, mercury and HID lamps, ballasts, capacitors.
The company was established in 1967 in the city of Varshets with the opening of a factory for electromagnetic ballasts production. The factory was equipped with German machinery, using a German technology, manufacturing a great variety of lighting industry components.

Since 2000 the company is a private venture with 100% Bulgarian capital. The plant was additionally renovated and modernized, again using German technology and equipment for its automatic processes. Currently Electrostart JSCo produces electromagnetic and electric ballasts, transformers, ignition devices and other components for luminescent, metal-halide, sodium, mercury and gas-discharge lighting units.

Electrostart is a registered trademark in the European Union, along with a number of countries in the Middle East, Northern Africa and South America. The company has a consistent representation on the markets in over 40 countries around the world, spreading over 4 continents.
