The country GDP growth reached record levels of 7% during the first 6 months of 2008, according to a report by Macro Watch and has seen consistent growth in foreign direct investment (FDI) over the past three years. The above mentioned economic results are good indicator for successful business development in Bulgaria", stated Mrs. Kehlibarova.

We can expect a solid performance from infrastructure construction along with related input suppliers and construction material producers. A strong showing is also likely from the higher value-added manufacturing sector", said Mrs.Kehlibarova.
Demand should remain strong both internally, as the capacity of manufacturers of investment goods increases and new investments are made, and externally, considering Bulgaria’s advantage of having a lower production cost base within the common EU market.
