Chinese Fine Stamping invests in motor cores plant in Serbia

Chinese motor lamination core manufacturer Fine Stamping plans to invest EUR 50 million by 2028 in building and equipping a factory in the Serbian city of Apatin in the northern Vojvodina province, the provincial government informed.

Construction of the plant, which will produce motor cores for electric cars, is expected to be completed in July, while production should begin in September. In the first phase, the factory will employ 150 people.
"Serbia is becoming a centre for the production of electric motors and electric vehicles, which not only improves the domestic industry but also positions our country as an important player in the global market", said Maja Gojkovic, president of Vojvodina´s government.
