"Save the Planet" 2015 opens new opportunities in waste management sector in SE Europe
The liberalization of the energy and utility sector and the necessity of new modern facilities in South-East Europe open new opportunities for investors and public authorities. What are the market potential, the latest industry updates and best green practices? The answers of these questions will be given at the 8th Congress and Exhibition on Energy Efficiency (EE) and Renewable Energy (RE), the 1st SEE Solar Exhibition and the 3rd Conference and Exhibition on Waste Management, Recycling and Environment - ’Save the Planet’. The event will run from 28 to 30 March 2012 in Sofia, Bulgaria. The participants will get a unique view of the new market trends and will network with the influential industry players on a global scale.
The forum will tackle the financial, regulatory, policy and technological roadblocks to green energy and waste management implementation across the South-East European Region. The organizer Via Expo has invited high-level speakers from over 20 countries. Among them are experts from Euroheat & Power, Deutsches BiomasseForschungsZentrum, World Alliance for Decentralized Energy, International Solid Waste Association (ISWA), European Network of Environmental Professionals (ENEP), Confederation of EU Waste-to-Energy Plants, Association of Cities and Regions for Recycling and Sustainable Resource Management (ACR+), etc. Hot topics like financing of EE & RES projects, energy efficiency, biomass resources, waste treatment technologies, landfilling, waste prevention, recycling, energy and resource recovery will be the highlights in the program.
For the second time Austria, one of the international leaders in environmental technology, will be a focus country of ’Save the Planet’.
Leading companies will present cutting edge technologies and services at the exhibition. Over 7000 visitors will be expected: municipality and associations representatives; investors and specialists in the sectors of energetics, renewables, construction, ecology, transport, agriculture, waste management, recycling, finance, processing industry, etc.
