Its Bulgarian subsidiaries provide engineering services and manufacture electrical equipment: circuit breakers, disconnectors and generating sets. In Bulgaria the company was established in 1996.
It develops and manufactures high and medium voltage electrical equipment, automation parts, engineering solutions. ABB companies in Bulgaria export their products in Russia, Iraq, Romania, Mexico, Brazil, Sweden, Norway, China, Germany, France.
ABB operates in Bulgaria through a main office in Sofia, manufacturing facilities in Petrich, Sevlievo, two plants in Rakovski and office and turbochargers service station in Varna.
ABB Bulgaria EOOD focuses on providing engineering solutions and electrical equipment for high, medium and low voltage, as well as automation systems and products for the technological processes, both in the power and industrial sectors.
ABB Avangard in the Sevlievo production unit focuses on engineering and assembly for high and medium voltage equipment and related services. At the end of 2011 the factory in Sevlievo delivered the first Metal Enclosed Capacitor Banks (MECB) products.
ABB Automation is an internal supplier of automation parts for ABB factories mainly in Italy, as well as for other factories within the ABB Group in countries such as France, Germany and China.
