The 5th International Congress & Exhibition on Energy Efficiency /EE/ & Renewable Energy Sources /RES/ for South-East Europe presents the European EE & RES knowledge and experience, and is an excellent platform for dialogue and business contacts. Its goal is to encourage investment in energy efficiency and the implementation of renewable energy in the Region of South-East Europe. The forum will take place from 6to 8 April 2009 in National Palace of Culture /NDK/, Sofia, Bulgaria.
"South East Europe has recently been confronted with two different crisis simultaneously - the financial one and a gas one. It is clear to the business and to the public that energy independence is one of the most important topics for each country individually, and for the South East Europe region as a whole" said the EU Commissionar Mr. Andris Piebalgs.
There will be official German and Austrian participations at the exhibition. The interest in the SE European region as a good potential market for EE & RES technologies is rapidly growing. 7th of April is announced as the day of German RES experience. The exhibitors will make company presentations parallel to the exhibition.
The parallel International EE & RES Exhibition provides a showcase of innovative technology, equipment and services for implementation and utilization of renewable energy and energy saving. The event constitutes a unique and cost effective way for exhibitors to reach a wide targeted audience from the Region of South-East Europe and generate leads right on the spot.
