The biggest electric engineering fair of Anatolia ELEKON was organized between 12th and 15th May in Ankara Altinpark Fair Center. Electric technicians and engineers visited the fair which attracted important companies working in the field to participate.
In the first day of ELEKON “Liberalization of the electric sector” were discussed by the top specialists of the sector. The panel was a kind of a guide for the steps which would be taken in the days to come by Turkish Privatization Adminitration to privatize TEDA. Second day of ELEKON Fair, renewable energy was discussed in panels. During the third and fourth days, comapnies presented their products and services to the visitors and a panel was realized about grounding for the technicians. The attention was attracted by panels as an important part of the event.
One of the most interesting topics of ELEKON Fair were electromechanical industries. Mainly firms who sell measurement equipment and cable producers showed interest to the event. Technicians and engineers, members of Industry and Commerce Chambers came from all over the Anatolia by busses and were hosted in firms’ stands as groups.
Statistics about visitors of the 19th ELEKON Fair shows that mainly specialists visited the fair. 34,5% of the visitors were electric, electronic, communication, computer and mechanical engineers and 31% were technicians. In addition to that 6,6% of visitors got their invitations by Internet, informed organizers.
