With 30,000 visitors and a 50% increase in foreign trade visitors, this was the biggest event in DETROP history.

This year, the 18th DETROP 2005 International Exhibition of Food – Beverages – Machinery & Equipment achieved a 25% increase in the number of visitors. High visitability, quality visitors, new HELEXPO services, numerous and significant satellite events and a new perception of the event, which, thanks to the contribution of the Municipality of Thessaloniki, became a city feast, ensured absolute exhibitor and trade visitor satisfaction, rendering the exhibition the most successful and effective in the sector. During the exhibition, many important business meetings took place, both within the framework of ExpoPartenariat and in the form of direct business contacts, which set the foundations for new, profitable cooperation schemes.
